after placing the models in their right position, lightings for the room was set up and the scene is rendered in several different passes; all of which are to be composited together...these passes are blended together appropriately in after effects using different blending modes.
the image is colour corrected ; hue and saturation, levels, etc...and finally...
the final rendered image..
after the proposed composition is approved, now the actual work comes in place. i first matched the camera in the actual still and created a 3d camera in 3ds max. a rough mockup was placed in the interior to have a closer look to the final composition... after matching, i started on modeling several 3d elements that are to be composited in the still image. these models are modeled and textured in 3ds max and rendered using Vray renderer.

Now, unto postproduction where the compositing begins...
this is one of my first work involving 3d vfx, since i started streaming into vfx. this is however, my first assignment; to composite 3d objects into a still image. i started the project by first choosing an image. we were given several themes which we are to incorporate into the image with our 3d elements. i chose the egyptian theme...i must therefore input 3d elements to change the room into an egyptian one.

Pre Production

well i've chosen this image. and now to turn it into a modern egyptian "feel" room. the following two images are the image analysis and effects planning...

the image is an illustration of the proposed composition for the interior...
